Abu Dhabi, Dec. 11 (Petra)-- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi, held talks in Abu Dhabi, on Thursday, with United Arab Emirates (UAE) Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, focusing on ways to strengthen bilateral relations and review regional developments.

During their meeting, the two ministers reaffirmed the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Jordan and the UAE, emphasizing their shared commitment to expanding cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their peoples.

Safadi and Sheikh Abdullah discussed the latest developments in Gaza, stressing the importance of adhering to the ceasefire agreement and fully implementing its provisions in accordance with the plan put forward by U.S. President Donald Trump.

They also underscored the need to ensure the sustained and sufficient delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and to move toward the second phase of the agreement.

The ministers reviewed the situation in the West Bank as well, highlighting ongoing efforts to end the dangerous escalation and halt Israel’s illegal measures in the occupied territory.

Safadi and Sheikh Abdullah also discussed a number of regional issues of mutual concern.
